NIACC’s Continuing Education program got into the holiday spirit with a winter wreath crafting class on Thursday, Dec. 7.

Instructed by Jayne Stowe, the group learned how to turn pine cones, greenery, and ribbons into a festive holiday decoration for the season.

In the spirit of holiday sharing, NIACC was able to host its winter wreath class in the ISU Extension office, as NIACC’s own building is closed for renovation for the new career campus. The temporary displacement has allowed the schools a bit of collaboration with overlapping events.

“The extension office has been so kind,” said Continuing Education Coordinator Wendi Coen-Ward. “It’s been really nice to share some of these activities.”
