The Marble Rock Historical Society hosted a soup super fundraiser to help support its ongoing activities on Tuesday, May 7.

Setting up in the former St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, volunteers from the Historical Society invited the community to come out and enjoy the pleasant weather with bowls of homemade Taco Soup and Chicken Wild Rice, along with garlic bread and a slew of baked goods.

“It’s just a soup supper and good times,” said Historical Society member Clayton Black.

The Historical Society is preparing for a busy month, continuing work on the Beelar Station façade with plans to install a new spiral staircase this weekend.

On Saturday, May 25, the Historical Society will be hosting its annual Relics & Rides event, bringing classic cars downtown for an afternoon showing.
