Central Park hosts Food Truck Frenzy

A spattering of sprinkles didn’t stop a crowd of people from swarming Central Park for dinner during Food Truck Frenzy on Sunday, May 19.

Ten area food trucks set up around the park to serve their specialties from 4 to 8 p.m. All About Cheesesteaks, A Shred Above, Big Foots BBQ, Churasan, the Cookie Dough’tique, Cosmic Smash Burgers, Kita’s Kooking, Maria’s Tacos, the Shiver N’ Squirrel and Whatcha Like were all on-hand to satisfy whatever dinner cravings one might have.

In spite of threatening rain the food trucks stayed busy throughout the event, with some running out of supplies and others taking orders right up until 8 p.m.
