Members of the Charles City Rotary Club held their weekly meeting Monday, June 17, at the newly opened North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) Charles City Career Center, and after lunch got a tour of the facility by Wendi Coen-Ward, the center’s community education coordinator.

The four career-focused path classes that will be available to high school students from seven area high schools beginning with the new school year in August are health careers, advanced manufacturing, construction trades and information technology. The classes will be open to students from Charles City Community School, Clarksville, Nashua-Plainfield, North Butler, Osage, Riceville and Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock.
