Marble Rock is gearing up for its annual Fun Days event this weekend.
The fun begins on Friday, Aug. 2, with the annual Firefighter’s Supper at the Walter F. Bohl Community Center. Proceeds from the freewill donation supper will go toward the purchase of new equipment for the firefighters.
A full day of activities begins on Saturday with a morning breakfast at the community center ahead of the parade.
The parade itself, scheduled for 11 a.m., has a new route for this year. Entries will line up along South Street and Shepardson Street and go north on Main Street up to Bradford Street.
After the parade, lunch will be served. Hosted by St. Mary’s Roseville Rosary Society, hamburgers, pork burgers, and hot dogs will be on the menu from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Over at the park there will be kids games, trains, balloon animals, pedal cars, baby goats, a dunk tank and more. New to this year will be laser tag by HyperSpace Starcade.
At 12:30 p.m. Levey the Great will perform a magic show for the kids at the park and at 1 p.m. the grown-ups can participate in a bags tournament with registration at Whitetails Bar and Grill.
In the evening, starting at 9 p.m., the Mike Walsh Band will perform live music at Whitetails for a street dance that will go until 1 a.m.
