Get Messy springs into March

Whether rainy or snowy, spring is on the way and the Charles City Public Library’s Get Messy program leapt into March with spring-themed crafts.
Markers, glitter and paint were all on hand as kids picked out their favorite method of decorating spring-themed designs.
Next week will be a busy week for the library with a full schedule of programming to keep kids occupied over Spring Break.
On Monday, the library will be handing out Make & Take STEM projects, giving kids a science-themed craft to take home. Tuesday morning the library will have open Lego building times followed by Get Messy in the afternoon where kids will make mug cakes. On Wednesday Pizza and Puzzles starts at noon for anybody looking for a lunchtime activity; and Friday will be Nerf Night, which will require pre-registration.
