The music doesn’t stop at the Charles Theatre.
Hot on the heels of a well received concert featuring Jordan Beem, the Charles Theatre has lined up its next live event. Coming from Nashville, country singer Kaylyn Sahs will be performing at the theater on Thursday, May 1.
“I’m very excited about this,” said Sahs.
Originally from Bellevue, Nebraska, Sahs has been performing since graduating high school in 2016 and recently moved to Nashville to develop her music career.
Currently on the tail end of a four-week tour celebrating the radio debut of her single, “Wine About It,” Sahs was already crossing the Midwest when the theater board reached out about doing a concert.
“It was cool how it happened,” said Sahs. “It was funny that they reached out because we were already going to be there.”
Already planning to be in the area for radio interviews in New Hampton and Mason City, it didn’t take much to arrange for a stop in Charles City for a live show.
“It sounds like it’s going to be a really awesome time,” said Sahs.
Along with her original songs, Sahs will be performing a mix of country covers from both classic and contemporary artists.
“I am really excited to come out there and meet the people of Charles City,” said Sahs. “We’ll have a really special night. It’s going to be awesome.”
