The Rudd community supported their library through shopping as the library board put on a Rummage and Bake Sale this weekend.
On Friday and Saturday, the Rudd gymnasium was packed with donated items for people to browse through. Clothes, kitchenware, games, toys, and more were up for sale for a freewill donation.
Meanwhile, board members contributed cookies, Rice Krispie Treats, apple pies, banana bread, and other assorted baked goods to really sweeten the deal.
“It’s wonderful,” said board member Linda Miller.
Funds raised during the rummage sale will help with the library’s operating expenses as it continues to re-supply after being rebuilt following the 2021 tornado.
