Nashville singer performs live at Charles Theatre

A solid crowd turned out Thursday night for a live concert at the Charles Theatre featuring country singer Kaylyn Sahs.

“It’s such an honor to be here in Charles City,” said Sahs on opening the show.

In the area on a radio tour promoting her debut single, Sahs was contacted by the theater board to arrange a live show for the upcoming Nashville musician.

“I got to explore Charles City,” said Sahs. “I love it here and I definitely want to come back.”

The live concert is the second in as many months as the theater board continues its effort to diversify the Charles Theatre’s entertainment offerings for the community. The strong turnout for show is an encouraging sign for board members as they prepare to book more performances.
