Bundles of boxes were used for building at the Charles City Public Library’s Get Messy program on Tuesday, May 6.

Kids put their engineering skills to the test by stacking and decorating columns of cardboard to make towers and tunnels out of the pile of boxes in the Zastrow Room.

Coming up next week, the library will be getting messy outside with a series of outdoor games. The program will then be taking a short hiatus, coming back for the summer on June 3.
