Charles Theatre features Iowa native performance

Live music returns to the Charles Theatre this week as country music artist Brad Morgan is set to perform on Wednesday, June 11.

“It will be exciting,” said Morgan. “We’re just going to have a fun time.”

The Iowa native, now living in Nashville, is back in his home state as part of his summer tour through the Midwest, and the Charles Theatre board was able to work a visit to Charles City into his schedule.

“Chuck [Van Guilder] reached out to me and kind of explained what’s going on there,” said Morgan. “I thought it seemed awesome so I shot him over some dates and we found one that worked and rolled with it.”

Morgan will bring his acoustic guitar for an evening of crowd favorite covers and original music. He recently released his latest single, “Right Mind at the Wrong Time.”

Doors for the show will open at 7 p.m. with a start time of 8 p.m.
