First established in the 1960s by John Swaroff, the business at 1300 Gilbert St. was purchased in 1987 by present day owners Harold and Chris Nelson. They employ three fulltime people who along with Harold, provide more than 80 years of combined automotive repair and service experience and training.

Speaking of training, the service personnel at Nelson Tire & Auto undergo continuing education classes and training in order to remain current and up to date on the latest automotive changes. In addition, the Nelsons make sure they have the latest equipment at their disposal in order to tackle any make or model vehicle.
