MEETINGS Floyd County Conference Board

The Floyd County Conference Board will be meeting on Nov.

24 at 4 p.m. in the Assembly Room, located on the ground floor of the Floyd County Courthouse, Charles City.

The agenda will be to appoint the Floyd County Assessor for the term of January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2021.

County Soil and Water Commissioners

The regular meeting of the Floyd County Soil & Water Conservation District Commissioners will be held on Nov. 19, at 7 a.m.

at the Natural Resources Conservation Service office, 623 Beck Street, Charles City.

Floyd County Compensation Board

The first meeting of the Floyd County Compensation Board for fiscal year 2015-2016 will be Nov. 23. at 4 p.m. in the Floyd County Courthouse.

Planning and Zoning Commission

This week’s planning and zoning commission will review a request for re-zoning of property at 1006 N. Grand and set a date for a public hearing. The meeting will tak place on Nov. 23 at 5 p.m. in the council chambers.
