REALTOR RING DAY

REALTOR RING DAY

(L-R): Michael Hammond, Dean Stewart, Veronica Litterer, Ann Kabele, Wendy Luft and Jon Jensen help ring Salvation Army bells during Realtor Ring Day. The day is an annual event that brings thousands of realtors to red kettles all over the country to collect donations that support local Salvation Army housing programs and more.

Realtor Ring Day debuted in 2010 with a few hundred Minnesota and North Dakota realtors ringing bells on a single day in Minnesota and North Dakota. The event has grown each year as realtors from more states make this a Christmas tradition.

This holiday season your local realtors will be joining their colleagues throughout the nation to Ring the Bell supporting the Salvation Army and their communities. The event gives real estate professionals an opportunity to support a cause that is dear to them: housing. Kettle donations also fund additional Salvation Army programs such as food, rehabilitation and youth activities.

Kettles will be hosted by the realtors members of Northeast Iowa Regional Board of realtprs representing 13 counties in Northeast Iowa. More than 300 realtors in Iowa raised over $30,000 on Ring the Bell Day in 2014.
