CLUB NOTES

Union Busy Bees

The Union Busy Bees December meeting was called to order at 4:07 p.m.

by President Fallon Marth.

18 members were present and answered “What is your favorite community service activity I have participated in?” as roll call. Amy Fullerton reported on Salvation Army Bell Ringing at Ace Hardware on Dec. 5. Adam Staudt and Rachel Chambers reported on Beef Weigh-In at Link Livestock, and Teresa Marth reported on Awards Night Presentation. The club wrapped gifts for Crisis Intervention, and will be restoring the Union Busy Bees sign on the east side of Marble Rock as a community service project. Stacy Staudt will be presenting a photography workshop on Jan. 11, and Tracy Scharper with Scharper Vision with be presenting a Canvas Painting at our Feb. 21 meeting.

A sewing workshop will be held at the Extension Office on Dec. 28. See newsletter for more details. Re-enroll as soon as possible to ensure that you receive the newsletter and are covered under our insurance.

The next meeting will be held Jan. 17 at 4 p.m at the Marble Rock Methodist Church.
