HOUSING INCENTIVES

Both the city of Charles City and the county of Floyd each offer tax rebate programs for new housing construction. Eligible participants in the programs must reside in the house, with the structure either inside the city limits for the City rebate, or outside of any incorporated town limits and within the county for the County’s rebate. The City of Charles City also offers a new residential sub-division reimbursement program for water hook-ups. Contact city hall for more information at 257-6300.
