Staff Report

The 2016 Floyd County Fair saw the crowning of Floyd County Little Miss Rachel Paplow, 7, and Little Mr. Ethan Hadley, 6. The two join incoming Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock High School senior Alyssa Staudt as fair ambassadors throughout the week. Paplow and Hadley were crowned by 2015 Little Miss Bobbie Soifer and Little Mr. Ty Hejna. 2015 Floyd County Fair Queen Jenna Grober, Charles City High School ‘16, was also present.

Tuesday night also saw the induction of Jane Larsen into the 4-H Hall of Fame on Tuesday, citing her longtime volunteerism within the program, County Director Lesley Milius said. Larsen will represent Floyd County with inductees from county fairs statewide at the Iowa State Fair, recognizing their many years of service and leadership within the programs.
