Prichard to seek re-election

On Monday, Rep. Todd Prichard, D-Charles City, filed nomination papers to run for re-election to the Iowa House of Representatives.

Prichard brought his family with him to the Capitol.

“It’s an honor to represent the great people of House District 52, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity,” Prichard said in a post. “Special thanks to Ann, Katie, Emma and Owen for being there for me yesterday and every day.”

Prichard has been a representative since 2013 and currently represents the district covering Floyd, Chickasaw and part of Cerro Gordo county.
