Jason Lee Head, age 35, was sentenced Monday in Floyd County District Court to two terms of up to 10 years in prison, each suspended, and served concurrently.

He also was ordered to serve three to five years probation, and was given a $1,000 fine, suspended, on one count, and a $1,000 fine, with half of it suspended, on the other count, plus surcharge and fees.

Head pleaded guilty to the charges in a plea arrangement with the Floyd County Attorney’s Office.

He had originally been charged with two Class B felonies for delivery of methamphetamine, on Jan. 4, 2018, and Jan. 8, 2018, within 1,000 feet of a school, and a Class C felony for delivery of a smaller amount of meth on Jan. 12, 2018, also within 1,000 feet of a school.

The plea arrangement reduced the first charge to a C felony without the school zone enhancement and dropped the second B felony charge, in return for the guilty plea.
