The Charles City High School Drama Department put on its fall musical this weekend with a three-day rendition of “Godspell.”

Opening on Friday, Nov. 3, with additional showings on Nov. 4-5, the adaptation of the 1970’s off-Broadway musical was selected for its smaller cast size and set requirements, allowing it to accommodate the stage at the Charles Theatre where it was presented.

The play featured Jacob Diers, DaShawn Grivvin, Blake Hoeft, Blake Dean, Jacob Jones, Norah Massawe, Ana Tutu, Camryn Hoeft, Kaity Heckers, Savannah Baldus, Lilie Mohring, Aden Hunnie, Nyssa Salinas, Andrew White, Alexia Clark and Ellie Gassman, with Addison Tracey serving as stage manager and directed by Drama Director Erika Joiner and Musical Director AJ Weber.
