Floyd County Fair 2024 Schedule of Events

The 2024 Floyd County Fair runs Tuesday, July 16, through Sunday, July 21.

Here are the events scheduled for the Floyd County Fair, running from Tuesday, July 16, through Sunday, July 21:

TUESDAY, JULY 16

10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. – Static Exhibit Judging; YEC.
Noon – Agronomy Comments; YEC.
3 p.m. – Tall Corn Contest; YEC.
4-5 p.m. – Baking Contest; drop off entries in the Swartzrock Community Center.
6:30 p.m. – Queen Coronation, Lil Miss & Mister Floyd Contest, 4-H Hall of Fame, Share the Fun, 4-H Fashion Show, Tall Corn Contest Results, Baking Contest Results; YEC.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 17

7 a.m. – Dog Show; Show Arena.
7 a.m.-6 p.m. – 4-H Food Stand; SCC.
9 a.m.-9 p.m. – Exhibit Hall Open; YEC.
Noon – Pet Show; Show Arena.
2 p.m. – Horse Show; Horse Arena.
4-6 p.m. – Entries accepted at the YEC.
5 p.m. – Poultry Market Broiler Show; Show Arena.
5 p.m. – The Live Shark Encounter; Midway.
5-7 p.m. – Biofuel Trailer; Midway.
5-7 p.m. – Dunk Tank featuring the Sheriff’s Department; proceeds go toward K-9 Sirius.
5-8 p.m. – Little Hands Exhibit.
5-8 p.m. – The Butterfly Encounter; Midway.
5-8 p.m. – Miller’s Petting Zoo; by Little Hands Bldg.
5-9 p.m. – Beverage Garden, Food Trucks & Music; Midway.
5-10 p.m. – Co-Ed Sand Volleyball Ages 15+; by the Bandshell.
7 p.m. – The Live Shark Encounter; Midway.
