Corporate Drive closed beginning Monday for sewer work

As part of construction on the multi-family housing development The Collective on 13th, Corporate Drive in Charles City will be closed to traffic at the intersections of 13th Street and Rove Avenue for the installation of new sanitary sewer to the site.

This work is expected to begin the morning of Monday, June 9, and the street will remain closed for two days, according to information from the Charles City Engineering Department.

“This schedule is dependent on the weather,” said City Engineer John Fallis. “Motorists are encouraged to avoid this area and utilize other routes to bypass the construction area. Questions can be directed to the city of Charles City at 257-6300.”
