Peter A. Nelson

Services will be held at a later date for Peter Nelson, 63, of Charles City, who died Sunday, May 31, surrounded by his family.

Peter was born Nov. 1, 1956, in Sacramento, California, the son of Clifford Nelson and Racine (Pulse).

Peter earned his welding certificate from NICC in Cresco. He enjoyed motorcycles, playing guitar and spending time with family and friends.

Peter is survived by his girlfriend Kelly Hastings, Charles City; children, Rachael (Tyler) Nelson, David (Jesse) Nelson, Travis and Heather; siblings, Raymond Nelson, Penny (Paul) Herold, Judy Johannsen; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
