Eldon Randall

Graveside Services for Eldon Randall, 86, of Charles City will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Hillside Cemetery in Marble Rock with military honors by Straudt – Gates Post 386 American Legion, Marble Rock. Eldon Randall passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 at the Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City.

Eldon E. Randall was born March 28, 1934 at Shell Rock, Iowa a son of Virgil and Inez (French) Randall. At a young age his family moved to Marble Rock. He graduated from Marble Rock High School with the class of 1951. He then farmed with his father until entering the United States Army in September 1953, serving in Germany until 1955.

When Eldon returned home, he spent many years with Teamsters Local 828 as a truck driver with Briggs and Midwest Trucking. He was a member of the Marble Rock Post American Legion and enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.

Eldon was married to Bonnie Tibbits. She passed away in 1987. On April 28, 1990 Eldon married Catherine Tobin in Mason City. They moved to Charles City in 2006.

Family members include his wife Cathie; step children: Mike (Jeanene) Blickenderfer; Steve (Diane) Blickenderfer; Lori (Steve) Mathre; Dennis (Sara) Blickenderfer; Darlene (Rick) Rex; Peggy Squire; David (Vickie) Koebrick; Donna (Doug) Drake; many grandchildren and a whole host of great grandchildren; brother: Maurice Randall and sister: Deloris Willson.

Eldon is preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Inez Randall; former wife Bonnie (Koebrick) Randall; step-daughter: Diane Christi; grandson: Justin Blickenderfer; sister-in-law Marilyn Randall and brother-in-law: Clifford Willson.
