William ‘Bill’ Benning

William “Bill” Benning, age 74, of Plainfield died at home on Nov. 7, 2020.He is survived by his wife, Renee (Hitzemann) Benning; three sons, Luke (Veronica) Benning of Chino Valley, AZ.; Scott Benning of Charles City; and Levi (Trista) Benning of Plainfield; five grandchildren, Nikki, Ashleigh, Kimberly, Joshua and Brooklyn; two great granddaughters, Elsbeth and Ariah; mother in law, Eleanor Hitzemann of Akron, IA.; brother in law, Gerald Hitzemann of Akron, IA. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Margaret Benning; father in law, Melvin Hitzemann.

As per Bill’s wishes, no services will be held.

If desired, memorials can be sent directly to Cedar Valley Hospice.
