Patricia May Cleveland

Patricia May Cleveland, 77, of Charles City Iowa, passed away Dec. 19, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Mason City.

A private family service will be held at The Bridge Church with Pastor Rob Williams officiating. The service was live streamed on The Bridge Church Facebook page at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020.

She is survived by three of her children: June, David and Kerry (Scott Murray) 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Johanna Morgan; her husband, LeRoy Cleveland; her sister, Donna Pruessner; and her son, Scott Cleveland.

Pat was known for her cheerfulness, making friends with everyone. She was selfless in her love for others, putting the well-being of others most times above herself.

Mom was a very hard-working lady; she was a Tupperware manager for approximately 30 years and bookkeeper for LeRoy’s TV and appliance in Nashua, and worked as a florist at Gerard’s, Fletcher’s, Echter’s and HyVee here in Charles City. She also helped at a florist in Nashua on occasion. She and Dad had a big part in being band parents when June and Kerry were in band at Nashua and they ran the parent music band food stand at the fair for many years.

A great debt of thanks is extended to all who helped with mother, taking her to and from appointments for her cancer and helping her at home, as well as those who came to visit and keep her company over the years. She loved you all and we appreciate your love and faithfulness more than we can say.
