Kalla Jean Lodge

Kalla Jean Lodge passed away Friday, May 7 at her home in Charles City after a yearlong illness.

At her request she will be cremated and a graveside service for friends and family will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Sunny Side Memorial Garden Cemetery.

Kalla was born on Sept. 29, 1948 to Harvey and Mildred Kuhlmann. She attended Northwood School and later graduated from Charles City. Kalla was united in marriage to James Lodge on June 16, 1967 at the Floyd Methodist Church.

Living Family members include her children: Scott (Rhonda) Lodge, Julie(Jeff) Marty, and Todd Lodge; five grandchildren; Emma Lodge, Thomas (Cassidy) Nairn, Katlyn Marty, James Marty, and Corwin Lodge; two great grandchildren; Iyla and Archer Nairn.
