Greg was born Jan. 5, 1981 at Schoitz Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa. From a young age his style was always on point and his smile was always at the ready. He had an easy going- let it be personality that won over most that knew him. Greg loved to travel and was always game for a last minute road trip to wherever. Greg worked for many years at Hawkeye Fire and Safety; a job that he took great pride in because he knew he was making a difference in lives through safety.

In his free time he tried to spend as much time with his children as he could; they were his entire life; his pinnacle of pride. You could always catch him bragging about the latest thing they did. His favorite hobby was to find a way to get in the air; he loved flying and the freedom it brought with it. He was always at peace in the clouds and shared his love of flying with his children. He had a giving spirit and would be the first person you could turn to to talk or if you needed something and he would never keep tabs.  Greg was always the guy that wanted everybody to get along and spent many nights being the peace keeper between friends and family and accepted everybody exactly as they were; which endeared him to many. Gregor was definitely one of a kind and was the glue to his family. He will be forever loved and missed by many and his smile never forgotten. Peace in Rest, Gregor.

Services will be held Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Charles City with a gathering held after at the Lions Field Shelter.

Memorials can be directed to Hauser Funeral Home: 1205 Main St., Charles City, IA 50616.
