Travis Charles Eggers

Travis Charles Eggers passed away on Aug. 17, 2023, at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Travis was born on Aug. 26, 1979, in Iowa City, to Robert and Kathy Eggers. He attended Charles City schools.

For many years Travis did odd jobs and helped others in the Charles City area. Later in life, Travis took over care of his mother until her passing.

Travis had a special love for his family, friends, and his cat, Brady Boy. Travis was a kind soul and would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed the outdoors, tinkering in the garage and hanging out with family and friends.

Travis is survived by a son, Tyler Eggers-Hoefer; two sisters, Jackie and Roxanne; two nieces, Heather and Kendra; two nephews, Jeromy and Jason; and many great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and his cat, Brady Boy.

Travis was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Eggers and Kathy Boge, and his aunt, Linda Kilby.

There will be a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 28, at Riverside Cemetery, with Patty Kellogg officiating.
