Charles F. Nauman

In loving memory of Charles F. Nauman born on Oct. 3, 1947 entering into his eternal rest during the early morning hours of Oct. 26, 2023 while sleeping peacefully. Charles was born in Charles City, Iowa and during his time in high school became an exceptional football player leading his team to many victories. Charles favorite professional team was the Minnesota Vikings who promptly won their next game following Charles passing. Later in life Charles moved to the Bishop area to be closer to his son and enjoyed watching him play for the Bishop Broncos. In addition to football, Charles enjoyed gathering firewood, fishing the Owens River, driving back roads in his Chevy Blazer, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle he affectionately referred to as his “scoot”.

Charles was proceeded in death by his mother Lucille Maxine Nauman, father Max Nauman and brother Michael Nauman and leaves behind a son Brian Nauman, three granddaughters Kayla Nauman, Kristian Orihuela, and Lauren Nauman as well as two great granddaughters Emerson Orihuela and Takabi Orihuela. The family invites you to attend a viewing at Brune & Buck mortuary on Thursday Nov. 2, 2023 from 3-5 p.m. with graveside services on Friday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. at East Line Street Cemetery section 15.
