Sandra Drayton

Sandra Lee Drayton, 84, of Carol Stream, IL, passed away peacefully on Oct. 31, 2023, at home with her sons.

Sandra Drayton was born on June 29, 1939, in Charles City, IA, to Ercell Vance and Nora Baldwin Vance. Sandra grew up in Charles City, IA, and went on to enjoy a career in the travel business, allowing her to explore all the corners of the world. She was known for the love of her children, grandchildren, and friends, and for her keen sense of humor that so many enjoyed. She also touched many through sharing her passion for arts and crafts.

Sandra is survived by loving sons Michael and Spencer Drayton, her grandchildren Jeremy, Michael, and Daniella Drayton, and her daughter-in-law Dwi Lestari Drayton. She was predeceased by her loving sister Jolene Vance.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be a small private ceremony with immediate family, to be followed up with a Celebration of Sandra’s Life to be hosted next Spring.
