Zoey Monroe Herman was a gift and a blessing to everyone who met her.  She had a way of calming your soul the minute you walked into her room and laid eyes on her. She would light up the room with her beautiful little smile and make everyone laugh with her sassy little side-eye. Her personality radiated through her tiny little body, and she’d let everyone know she meant business by scrunching up her face and turning as red as a tomato. She loved music and loved it even more when her big sister would sing to her. Zoey enjoyed being held close by her mama and daddy and cuddling with her octopus. She was loved and adored by all who met her and will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Chris and Angela Herman; big brother, Lukas; big sister, Stella; maternal grandparents, Steve and Sara Robel and Jodi Robel; paternal grandfather, Orvall Herman; uncles: Rick and Joey Robel, and Sean and Collin Herman; aunt, Shana (Jonathon) Tabbert; along with many cousins, great-grandparents and great-aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Cheryl Herman.

Zoey gave us a lifetime of love during her short time here on Earth. Special thanks to the Carolyn Scott Rainbow House and Children’s Nebraska, both of Omaha, Nebraska.

A funeral service for Zoey will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, at Hauser Weishaar Funeral Home in Charles City with Erik Hoefer officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City following the service.
