John Ryan Nolt

John Ryan Nolt, 14, of Alta Vista, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at home.

Visitation for John Ryan Nolt will be held at the family home, 20050 Addison Avenue, Alta Vista, Iowa, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024. The family requests no flowers be sent, thank you.

A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 26, 2024 at the Cedar Valley Mennonite Church in Orchard, Iowa with burial at the church cemetery.

John Ryan Nolt, the son of John Ray and Marian (Martin) Nolt, was born on Feb. 24, 2009 in Charles City, Iowa.

He is survived by his parents, John Ray and Marian Nolt; siblings: Josiah, Annalisa, Glendon, and Jamin; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Martha Martin; paternal grandparents, John Henry and Esther Nolt; aunts and uncles: Daniel and Elva Sensenig, Alson and Minerva Martin, Curvin and Ruthann Martin, Isaac and Arlene Nolt, Nathan and Vera Mae Brubaker, Michael and Norma Martin, James and Grace Nolt, Leroy and Amy Nolt, Lester and Lois Ann Newswanger and Clair David and Rosene Nolt; along with numerous cousins.

John Ryan was preceded in death by his cousin, Nathan Sensenig.
