David L. Hunn

David L. Hunn, 80, Alpha, passed away April 18, 2024, at his residence. Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded. Private services and inurnment will take place at Greenview Memorial Gardens, Silvis, IL. Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home, Alpha is assisting the family with services. David was born on Aug. 19, 1943, in Iowa City, IA, the son of Orrin and Lois (Little) Hunn. He married Cheryl Brooks on Aug. 19, 1977, in Rock Island. David retired in 2001 from Eagle Foods working as a truck driver, and was a member of Teamsters. He served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1966. David was an avid drag racer.

David is survived by his children, Erica (Russell) Ogilvie, Alexis, David (Ginger) Hunn, Dierks, AR, James Hunn, Prescott, AR, and Teresa Hunn; grandchildren, Hope Fontenoy, Alexis, Zachary Serres, Woodhull, Tyler (Nicole) Serres, Knoxville, Ethan Ogilvie, Alexis, Kaitlyn (Breddan) Warren, Greenville, MS, Thomas Hunn, AR, and Troy Hunn, Rock Island; siblings, Jim (Judy) Hunn, Laughlin, NV, and Delbert Hunn, Griffin, GA; several great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces; and his beloved fur babies, Princess and Diesel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Hunn and his parents.
