Alan Eugene Heckman

Alan Eugene Heckman AKA “Tito” was born to Kenneth and Carolyn (Laye) Heckman on Nov. 27, 1942 at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. He grew up alongside his sister Gwen (Don) Eells, in Charles City, Iowa.

Tito passed away on July 8 2024 at his home under the care of St. Croix Hospice, family and friends.

Tito married his sweetheart Arlyce Knudson on Dec. 21, 1966. He lived life to his fullest ability: hard work, harder play, cars, travel, family and countless friends. As well as his love for the three P’s; Pugs, Prime Rib and Pineapple Upside Down Cake.

Tito loved his family, Lisa (Jim) Peterson, Bruce Sogard, Jill (Larry) Tjernagel, Kerra (James) Swenson, nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; also survived by Tito’s companion, Lisa Beards and Carlos, his beloved pug.

Waiting for him at heaven’s door are Arlyce, his parents, his son Kenny and grandson Ike R.
