Ryan William Heitz-Knutson

Ryan William Heitz-Knutson, age 44, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024, surrounded by his care team, at Harborview Hospital in Seattle, Washington. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Charles City Iowa.

Ryan was born in Audubon County, Iowa, on May 24, 1980, and adopted by Eugene and Ina Heitz on April 24, 1981. He attended schools in Charles City, Iowa.

Ryan was a very caring person and always willing to help anyone in need. He loved living and working in Seattle, Washington, and was employed by UW Medicine Harborview Medical Center Allergy Clinic as a Program Coordinator.

Ryan is survived by his parents, a special friend Cristien Stroszek, Charnell Breitbach, who since age 10 was like a sister, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his husband, Kevin Knutson, maternal grandparents, Willard and Lorene Wolf, paternal grandparents Art and Elsie Heitz.
