Rowan Dale Burkholder

Rowan Dale Burkholder, 4 months old, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinic in Iowa City, Iowa after a hard-fought battle against his immunodeficiency disorder.

Rowan Dale Burkholder was born Jan. 14, 2025, at Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City, Iowa, the son of Dale and Darla (Zeiset) Burkholder.

Family members include his parents of Charles City, Iowa; five siblings: Kirsten, Heidi, Russell, Autumn and Dora all at home; grandparents: the late Clarence and Margaret Burkholder of New Holland, Pennsylvania and Luke and Edna Zeiset of Charles City, Iowa; along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Visitation for Rowan will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Living Hope Mennonite Church, 1827 Underwood Avenue, in Charles City, Iowa. Rowan’s funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the church as well.
