Keith A. Pogemiller

Keith A. Pogemiller, 75, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at his home in Muscatine. Per Keith’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Memorials may be directed to the Muscatine High School General Scholarship in memory of Keith. Keith Alan Pogemiller was born on April 3, 1950, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Dwight and Marlys Elaine (Jans) Pogemiller. Keith was a 1968 graduate of Charles City High School then graduated from Iowa State University receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Keith earned his Master’s degree at Kirksville now called Truman State. He began his teaching career in Oskaloosa and then was a High School counselor in Muscatine for many years. Keith was an avid golfer recording seven holes in one. He also enjoyed many outdoor activities including fishing, deer hunting and archery.

Keith will be deeply missed by his siblings, Craig (Nancy) Pogemiller of Charles City, Garry (Deb) Pogemiller of Council Bluffs and Nancy (Neal) Daley of Waukon.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents.
