LETTERS POLICY

The Charles City Press is committed to offering a wide variety of views. To submit a letter to the editor or guest column, email it to editor@charlescitypress.com or mail it to Charles City Press, P.O. Box 397, Charles City, Iowa 50616-0397.

■ Writers must include their name, full address and phone number. Only the name and hometown will be published along with the opinion piece.

■ Letters to the editor are preferred at 300 words or less.

■ Guest columns are preferred at 700 words or less.

■ The Press reserves the right to edit all submissions for accuracy and clarity. Defamatory submissions are not allowed.
