The Charles City McDonald’s held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate 40 years in Charles City with a new look on Thursday. After close to three weeks of renovations, employees welcomed customers into their newly-remodeled restaurant last week, and had a formal re-opening on Thursday afternoon.
Owner Scott Soifer was on hand with his family, as were several local officials and the Charles City Ambassadors. One of the new customer service features will be the table service kiosks that were installed during the renovation. The kiosks enable patrons to order their meals right from the table.
