Vais, Epperly finish atop the Spook Run 5K field

Curtis Vais was the first to cross the Spook Run 5K finish line Saturday morning in front of the Charles City YMCA.

Sara Epperly finished first among the female runners.

The 2015 version of the race attracted runners in superhero and Muppet costumes as well as tu-tus and cat ears. Wednesday from the Addams Family also competed.
