CC alumna earns all-conference honors

Charles City volleyball alumna Jackie Foster was named to the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference, all-conference honorable mention list this fall.

Foster, a libero at the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, earned 82 digs during her sophomore year campaign. She also lead the second-ranked back row defense in the UMAC that averaged digs per set at 16.33 digs per game. A West Fork alumna, Lindsey Peterson, a teammate of Foster’s at Northwestern, was named the Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.

Foster was a three-time, Northeast Iowa Conference, all-conference athlete from 2011-2013. In the both 2012 and 2013, Foster was a first-team, all-conference player.
