N-P boys take on tough opponests, lose twice
Nashua-Plainfield boys basketball fell in their two games this weekend against Northwood-Kensett and Lake Mills.
The Huskies played close with the Vikings on Friday night, but fell short 10 points. N-P was only down 23-21 at halftime.
But a fourth quarter surge of 21 points by Northwood- Kensett was enough to seal the Huskies’ fate in the 10-point loss. Saturday night’s game against Lake Mills was blown out from the beginning.
A fast-paced, hot shooting Lake Mills team took control early and never looked back.
The Huskies play host to New Hampton tonight at 7:30 p.m. and then stay at home on Dec. 11 against Central Springs, also beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Huskies cap off the weekend with a matchup with Clarksville, on the road at 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 12.
