Kellogg wins College Bowl Challenge

Carter Kellogg didn’t attain a “Perfect 11” with his Charles City Press College Bowl Game Challenge picks, but nine was good enough for a tie with numerous contestants.

What put the Charles City resident over the top for the Comet Football gift card prize was correctly choosing Arkansas over Kansas State in the Liberty Bowl, which served as the challenge’s tie-breaker.

Kellogg’s other correct picks included Alabama over Michigan State (Cotton), Clemson over Oklahoma (Orange), Tennessee over Northwestern (Outback), Ohio State over Notre Dame (Fiesta), Stanford over Iowa (Rose), TCU over Oregon (Alamo), Mississippi State over North Carolina State (Belk) and Louisville over Texas A& M (Music City Bowl).

The two misses were Michigan over Florida (Citrus) and Ole Miss over Oklahoma State (Sugar).
