N-P’s Lane Barlow places 5th among Intermediate boys at State Trap Shooting Meet

CEDAR FALLS — Nashua-Plainfield seventh-grader Lane Barlow placed fifth in the Intermediate/Middle School boys division at the Scholastic Clay Target Program State Trap Shooting Meet going on through Sunday at the Cedar Falls Gun Club.
Barlow hit 190 out of 200 targets on Wednesday before participating in a tiebreaker shoot-off to secure fifth place.
Barlow is part of the first Intermediate/Middle School squad formed by the Charles City/Nashua-Plainfield Trap Shooting Team.
Others include Charles City eighth-graders Hunter Boehmer, Brady Hanson and Carson Linde; and N-P seventh-graders Hunter Brase, Tate Demro, Corbin Johnson and Maverick Sinnwell.
