Kiki Connell records 5th fastest Cyclone 3K steeplechase time at Bryan Clay Invite

AZUSA, Calif. — Former Charles City multisport standout and current Iowa State senior Kiki Connell recorded a personal-record 4-second improvement in the women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase, Wednesday night during the Bryan Clay Invitational hosted by Pacific Azusa University.

Connell’s time of 10 minutes, 17.80 seconds earned her sixth place at the meet and moved her up to No. 5 among the Cyclones’ top women 3K steeplechase times.

Connell has recently recovered from a broken-leg injury just in time for her final T&F season at ISU.
