Charles City hosting Iowa Chamber Board of Directors

The Iowa Association of Chambers of Commerce Board of Directors is in Charles City this week for the board’s annual retreat.

Representing chambers from across the state, the board is in Charles City for a two-day stay to discuss strategic planning for next year.

In between meeting sessions at the Charles City Public Library, Charles City Chamber Director and state Chamber Board President Mark Wicks gave the board a tour of Charles City, showing off the city’s businesses and taking board members to local restaurants for their retreat meals.

“We’re just excited to bring them to Charles City and showcase our community,” said Wicks.
