Local country music singer featured at Friday Party in the Park

It’s time to Party in the Park again tonight (Friday) in Charles City’s Central Park.

The theme for tonight’s special event is “Christmas in July,” and the free live entertainment from 5 to 9 p.m. will feature local country artist Jesse Allen, who will stop by as part of his Midwest “I’m Stepping In” Tour 2018.

Dress in red, green and everything Christmasy in-between to celebrate a mid-summer “holiday” tonight under the trees.

The park will again be full of food, games, refreshments, inflatables and more to while away the evening, visit with friends, neighbors and visitors and relax.

Now in its 16th season, Party in the Park is a series of Friday night public gatherings in Central Park hosted by Community Revitalization. The next and final Party in the Park this season will be Aug. 3, when the theme will be “Chuck goes to Hawaii.”
