Paul Hagarty

Paul Hagarty passed away on Friday, Aug. 28, 2020.

Hargarty was an amazing man whose smile and sense of humor affected all around him. He was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, family man and friend.

Paul is survived by wife Rosalie, daughter Katrina (Neil) Boyes, son Jason, grandsons Logan and Lucas Boyes, granddaughters Molly and Maggie Hagarty; siblings Lavonne (Curtis) Biggar, Carolyn (Bruce) Koll, Ruth (Art) Hunt, Jeraldine (Craig) Lynch, Judy (Don) Olejniczak, Louie (Barb) Hagarty, Bob (Diane) Hagarty, Tom (Amy) Hagarty, Jolene Hagarty, Jane (Tom) Offerman and Jean (Bill) Holscher; and in-laws Phyllis Gilsdorf, Jim Devore, Steve (Dorthea) Devore and David (Marcia) Devore. 54 living nieces and nephews and many great and great great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents Louie and Delma Hagarty, father and mother in-laws Norville and Elizabeth (Bibb) Devore, brother Joey Hagarty, sister Theresa Rose and nephews Doug Hunt, Greg Biggar and Eric Hagarty

Hagarty served in Marine Corp, Vietnam vet with many medals and commendations, Bellevue Volunteer Fire & Rescue for 20 years, director of parks, public buildings, recreation, and cemetery for 37 years. Member of Eagles, Knights of Columbus, Lifetime member of NE Department of Parks.

His favorite goodbye is fitting to what we want to say to you all: “Be good and Be safe”. Love you more.
