Sharon Lee Manship

Sharon Lee Manship (nee Weber) (Crawford) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 8, 2022, in Texas.

She was born on June 5, 1937, in Charles City to Kurt and Amanda Weber. She married her high school sweetheart, Larry Manship, in 1957. She taught school in Iowa, but they eventually moved to Texas. After Larry’s death in 1995, she remarried. She enjoyed her retirement traveling and cruising.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kurt and Amanda Weber, her husband, Larry, and her son Kenneth Todd. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Lori, and Lori’s partner, Malinda, as well as her grandson, Shane.

Sharon’s zest for life will be missed by many family members and friends. A graveside memorial service will be held May 7, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.
